We’re a modern handloom house, reimagining craft as a global staple — from India.
Fashion today is fast, synthetic, and detached from the hands that make it. We began Naya Pannah to turn a new page — to restore the balance between what we wear and the world we live in.
At the heart of our work is handloom — a fabric that breathes with you. Unlike machine-made textiles, handloom threads hold microscopic air pockets that make them naturally cooler in heat, warmer in cold, and softer with every wash. They’re woven without electricity, consuming almost no water, and use 0 plastic fibres, unlike polyester which sheds microplastics into our oceans. Each handloom garment saves up to 300 litres of water, simply by choosing natural over synthetic.
And yet, this material — India’s oldest and most sustainable craft — remains underutilised in the modern wardrobe.
Our mission is simple: for every person on earth to own one handloom piece. One piece that carries the touch of an artisan, the breath of the earth, and the comfort science can’t replicate.
We’re making this possible by reimagining handloom through contemporary design — silhouettes that move easily between seasons, cities, and moods.
Every garment is made consciously, blending tradition with technical precision to feel effortless yet enduring.
Behind each piece are real people: weavers, dyers, tailors, and designers working in rhythm — human hands shaping fabric into form, not machines. From our plastic-free buttons to water-conscious dyeing, every detail reflects a commitment to sustainability that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
