Sundowner Stripe Shirt

Murshidabad, once the seat of Bengal's Nawabs, has been producing exceptional cotton for centuries. This particular weave has a loose, open structure that gives it the texture and drape of linen — but it's cotton, so it's softer and less prone to creasing. The stripes aren't printed — they're woven in using yarn-dyed threads in yellow, pink, blue, and grey. Every stripe is a deliberate choice made at the loom.

The linen-like weave is open enough to breathe exceptionally well — one of the best fabrics you can wear in heat. It doesn't trap moisture, doesn't cling, and recovers its shape easily. Because the colour is in the yarn itself, the stripes stay vivid without fading at the edges or cracking. This is a fabric that ages gracefully.

This shirt has personality — wear it with confidence and keep everything else simple. Dark denim or solid white/cream trousers let the colours breathe. Roll the sleeves; it looks best that way. The multicolour stripes mean you don't need to think too hard about pairings — most solids will find at least one colour to echo.

Machine wash cold on gentle, or hand wash. Separate for the first wash. Air dry in shade — the open weave dries quickly. This fabric doesn't need much ironing; a light press while damp is enough. Embrace slight texture — it's part of what makes it feel premium, not a flaw.

At Naya Pannah, every garment is produced in limited quantities using thoughtfully sourced handloom fabrics. To help us maintain quality and reduce unnecessary waste, we offer exchanges and store credit under the following policy.

• Exchange or return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.

• Products must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and returned in their original condition with all original packaging, tags, invoice, accessories, and the Tagloop security tag intact. Products returned without the Tagloop attached will not be eligible for exchange or store credit.
  
  
• We do not offer cash refunds. Approved returns will be issued as Naya Pannah Store Credit, valid for 12 months.
  
  
• A ₹99 Processing & Reverse Pickup Fee applies to all approved returns and exchanges. This amount will be deducted from the store credit issued or charged for exchanges.
  
  
• One exchange is permitted per order, subject to product availability.
  
  
• If your requested size or product is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.

• Products purchased during any sale, promotional event, clearance, or marked as Final Sale are not eligible for exchange or return.

STORE CREDIT

• Issued after successful quality inspection.
• Valid for 12 months.
• Usable on all eligible products.
• Non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

PROCESSING TIMELINE

• Reverse pickup is usually scheduled within 2–5 business days after your request is approved.
  
• Returned products are inspected within 2 business days of reaching our warehouse.
  
• Exchanges are dispatched or store credit is issued within 24 hours after the product successfully clears inspection.
